I'm a Scottish artist, illustrator and designer.

My work is representational, but not hyper-real. I enjoy combining recognisable elements into art with character. I create "sensible" work and cartoon/humour pieces - often the first leads into the second.

I draw natural subjects a lot because I've lived in the countryside for most of my life. When I was living in London I used my art to maintain a connection with the natural world and to study the new plants and animals I met in the city. Nature offers endless challenges and practice opportunities.

A little mischief can go a long way....
