Ink and watercolour on A5 watercolour paper.

I found a doodle in a sketchbook and decided to create an ink and watercolour picture from it. The original idea was for plain little blue birds, but I decided to use blue tits as my models. Their colouring just suited the attitude and look that I wanted.

I need to draw these birds some more to really bring out the personality and mannerisms, but I'm happy with this as my first attempt. It was fun painting such bright little birdies!
